Different regions of Asia and Indonesia utilize this medicinal spice in various ways from warm teas, to curries, to cosmetics. It has received further recognition in the past decade amongst our Western culinary influencers and Holistic enthusiasts. Turmeric is derived from it's most active compound, Curcumin. It has healing benefits beyond drinking a pretty and delicious yellow latte to brighten up our afternoon. (see recipe below :) )

Liquid Gold Latte ~ GF V
-1 1/2 cups of Oat Milk (or milk alternative of choice)
-1/4 tsp ground Turmeric
-1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon
-1/4 tsp ground Ginger
-1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
-1 tsp Maple Syrup
-1 grind of Black Pepper
Combine all in a milk frother and pour in your favourite mug.
